The Job: Prepare scope of work and participate in FEED stage of the project. Prepare for trip to site, collect data, for work required or troubleshooting and prepare technical reports required. Interpretation and application of Mechanical Engineering schematics and piping instrumentation diagrams. Maintain effective performance for all mechanical systems. Shall follow and enforce the QHSE policy. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Any additional qualifications in equipment and piping design courses. Libyan or International Driving Licence. Higher Level Certificate in spoken and written English. Required Experience: 5 -10 years working in the refineries and onshore oil and gas sector in the following categories: Water injection system, oil/gas separations, gas compression system and gas turbines. Experience and knowledge in relation to FEED stage and scope of work preparation. Experience with the use of international standards and codes of practices, such as API, ASME, ASTM, BS, ANSI, etc. Ability to understand and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P & ID) Experience in HAZOB & HAZARD studies Knowledge in Caesar II software. Ability to assist in mechanical equipment design, together with data processing in relation to refineries and oil and gas equipments (storage tanks, compressors, turbines, pumps, cooling and heating etc). 3 years experience in a multicultural environment with extensive experience in the training of local nationals. Computer literacy: Microsoft Excel and Word. A high standard of safety awareness.
