Reports on all operations activities including production facilities and gas plants and Terminal with concentration on process optimisation and economics to achieve highest safety standards and best efficiency at reasonable cost.
Functions and Responsibilities:
· Undertakes studies and analysis related to production and LPG plant operations. Prepares and/or reviews scope of work for certain activities
· Develops material and equipment specs, for enhancing or replacing existing plants or to procure new items.
· Prepares reports and keeps records on operations activities, orders, etc.
· Provides technical advice and supervision for the fields and Terminal as necessary.
· Prepares opex and capex budgets and cost analysis.
· Maintains work contacts with other departments for obtaining info. And/or coordination of work.
· Develops ideas to enhance operations recoveries and efficiencies.
· Maintains cost records and performs cost analysis.
· Assists in monitoring corrosion related activities and remedial work thereof.
· Helps to keep track of all modifications and changes done in all field works, plants and equipment.
· Undertakes technical and commercial evaluations as required.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
B. Sc degree in mechanical / chemical engineering.
A minimum of 15 years diversified experience in the Oil industry engineering work including 5 years of field experience in different phases of operations such as production and LPG plant activities.
