Workover Supervisor

Minimum 5 years experience. Incumbent is to set up innovative completion techniques and is in charge to run on the safer and professional way the of Completion equipment in order to meet production targets and budget limits. He will be the completion – Workover supervision authority for junior supervisors on site.

·        Participates by his input to the Completion and stimulation program, follow-up on their execution on site, supervise activities of local contractors who are involved and issue daily reporting to Tripoli base.

·        Follow-up, in liaison with Reservoir & Production, well performances and update completion and work over database.

·        Helps by his knowledge the new junior supervisors, especially for bean pumping and ESP pumping.

·        Anticipates need of completion equipment, including LLIs and spare parts.

·        Coordinates with concerned parties that all interfaces concerning completion of the wells (Drilling/Production, Drilling/Contractor), are well defined, and properly addressed.

·        Participates by his input to the SRP task force for wells, following as close as possible the improvements in term of production, in relation with Completion staff in Tripoli base.

·        Is able to replace the onshore completion and work-over engineer in Tripoli, when needed.

·        Supervises in addition of his normal supervision tasks, the swabbing, slick line and coiled tubing activities.

·        Ensures equipment will optimise completion of wells, ensure acceptability of testing equipment and services with Company needs, anticipate needs and ensure that all equipment are available in warehouse or yard.

·        Responds promptly with engineering solutions to operational problems and to any alteration of completion and testing sequence.

·        Is in charge of the well security, he is trained for well control and will answer to any unsafe situation on the rig.

·        Is in rotational basis on work-overs rigs and ensure proper implementation of completion programs and procedures.

Accountabilities:

·        Ensures efficient and safe completion through adequate follow-up and improvement in techniques and procedures.

·        Ensures that contractors and service companies follow client terms of reference.

·        Contributes to production, through effective supervision of the contractors.
